The Story of Tom Brennan - J.C. Burke
This is the compelling story of Tom whose life revolves around rugby, his mates and family life. Life in the small town is pretty cruisy until his older brother drink drives and is involved in a tragic car accident. Life changes for Tom forever.

The story of Tom Brennan by J.C.Burke

Tom Brennan's life revolves around his community, his family and his footy but when his elder brother kills two of his friends Tom's life is split into shards.

The Brennan family then decide to leave their lives in their former home behind to try to bring back the peices and put them together.

The family is battered with sadness, pain and hate while they try to re-cooperate at Tom's grandmother's house.

For Tom, the new life takes some adjusting to but in the end he regains his love for football, family and has found the love of his life....

The story of Tom Brennan was a book that let me see through the eyes of a person who has to endure a life-enduring tradgedy which even time cannot heal. It lets you look at the world through the eyes of people who have lost themselves in pain but have regained themselves through persistence and determination.

Overall I think The story of Tom Brennan is a great book which gives an insight into a world which may seem far away but is closer than you think.

this is an exellent book revolving around tom brennan and how he copes with his brother being sent to jail, moving towns, and falling in love.
the story is so ebriviated allows the reader to experience what it would be like if someone you loved was sent to jail.
