Double Exposure tells the story of 2 twins who are both unique in his own way but yet different.....

It is a story about how 2 brothers , Chris and Cain, live through their daily lives. While one is an artist who is talented beyond belief another has to live under the same roof as his judging, demanding and cruel father.

But the daily lives of both of these unique brothers turns out to be a lie when the word doulbe comes really into practise.

Double exposure is a great book and every word leaves a vivid image in your mind. You see the lives of people through their eyes and in a way which cannot be portrayed any better than it was done by Brian Caswell.
 

'Double Exposure' by Brian Caswell is the story of Cain and Chris, two identical twins with very different talents and the way they live their daily lives. The whole story is basically about contrast—the brothers, the pictures that Chris draws, the people they encounter. It's a good read, except for the whole 'dream of drowning' thing at the beginning of almost every chapter. At first it seems interesting, but after a while it just gets plain annoying. Sometimes the pace at which the story moves is also erratic, speeding up then slowing down. I don't think that Caswell let us prepare enough for the climax at the end—it just moved too fast. Other then that, though, it was a pretty entertaining book and the descriptions really stick in your mind. Definitely worth borrowing sometime.
 

Double Exposure is about two brothers Cain and Chris. Chris is a great artist who moved out of the house to get away from his cruel father, whereas Cain stayed under the same roof as their father to protect their mother from him.
Cain is in love with TJ, a single mum who is being stalked by her abusive ex-boyfriend who wants to take her son Tyler away from her. Chris is in love with a 16 year old prostitute named Abbey whose face he thinks is perfect, so he takes photos of her, paints her and draws her. Abbey ends up in trouble with the law after her friend kills their pimp with a bottle covered in Abbeys fingerprints.
There was a twist at the end that I definitely didn’t see coming. It’s a pretty good book; there are some pretty good descriptions in there that stick in your head. I think Brian Caswell did a good job.
 

this book is about some idenical twins who had an abusive father and these twins never wanted to be like him and they both help disanvanage poeple but other than that they are totaly diffrent people chris is an artist and cains knows nothing on art.
 

Double exposure was an interesting, insightful book about two identical, yet really different twins, Cain and Chris.

Chris is a brilliant artist who got fed up with his abusive father picking on his mother so he packed up and left, while Cain still lives with his parents and works at a movie theatre.

The two brothers live ordinary lives, with a difference . . .

I found the book exciting and really shocking when I got to the end. The author managed to convey a believable plot, despite the unusual ending.

Brian Caswell is a clevor, lyrical and captivating author whose work I look forward to reading again.
 

double exposer is a book about some identical twins who were brought up with a loving mother and an abusive father. chris and cain both hate there father and do every thing they can to be diffrent to him.chris is an artist who gos around the streets taking photos of thing or people to pant so he can enter the pantings into a gallary. when he was taking these pictures he found a prostatut who had a semetrical face. he took a drink and brought her a coffee. he than had to pay her 20 dollers to talk with her for five minuts in that five minuts he ansk her if she could do some posses for him so he could paint her but she diddnt thik he was for real and leaft. a few days later she rocks up at chris place and asked if she could stay for a few days.heer name was abbie and she had punch a guy who feel over and hit his head on the cement curve and then she ran away and her friend tess then killed the guy smashing a bottle on his head. but the bottle had abbies prints on it because tess wearsa gloves. wwhen abbie is running from the police she stays at chris place were chris paints her she later gos to court and wins. cain is chris brother who is dating a women who goes by the name tj who has a child. she has had some bad relation ships in clouding the boys father who bashed her. cain protects her from this x boy friend and has a romatic tim with tj through the book.
 

Double Exposure is a great read. It tells the story two brothers that are identical on the outside but are both facing very different problems on the inside. This story is very exciting with many unexpected twists that leave you wanting more!
 

this book is fantastic. it had me hooked from the moment that i opened it. the story of cain and chris is so different yet so much the same. when the final mysterious twist happens at the end it suprises you so much. its a powerful, happy and funny read.
 

'Double Exposure' by Brian Caswell is an exciting novel that shows how things may appear normal on the outside but its a very different story below the surface.

The tale unwinds in suburban Melbourne and is based on the lives of brothers Chris and Cain. But these two are not just brothers they are identical twins who share the same appearence but each have their own unique personalities, and problems.

The book explores the challenges they face during different stages of there lives, both in the present and events from the past. When each brother meets a girl the story gets even more interesting, as they bring there own problems into the mix, and leaving Chris and Cain to protect their new female friends from the troubles they face, which make the story even more irresistible.

An excellent read that explores art, love and the mysteries that an outside observer is sure to miss. With a highly unexpected twist, this thrilling book is recommended for more mature teenages as it touches more grown up situations.

This book almost demands a second read so you can check for the clues and signs that lead to the unpredictable ending. i would definatley give this book the genre of a Thriller with a physiological twist.
 

Double Exposure, a fabulous novel that was written by Brian Caswell, is a story about the lives of twins Chris and Cain. On the outside Chris and Cain seem like two very different people. Chris is a genius, very sensitive and a remarkable artist where as his brother Cain seems to be just like your average person. On the inside however, they share a very special bond. This special bond helps them both get through the many difficult and emotional hurdles that they face throughout the book.

The book Double Exposure is filled with many twists that you will never see coming and will make it hard for you to put the book down. It is an excellent read and I strongly recommend it.
